Art means a lot of different things to different people. For me, art and poetry are ways for us to understand our experiences, the beauty and the pain, the good and the bad, the profound and the absurd. My work attempts to explore these things on the personal and social levels, and how we as individuals find our place in society.

Anthony Palma started writing when he was in grade school. He holds a degree in English from Saint Joseph’s University, and a Masters from Arcadia University. His poems attempt to capture the hardships, despair, and isolation of modern life while showing that at the end of it all, there is always hope for a better world. He teaches writing at Rowan University and Saint Joseph’s University. His poems have appeared in several places, including The Mad Poets’ Review, Harbinger Asylum, Italian Americana, and soon to appear in Whirlwind Magazine.

In addition to poetry, his creative interests include the blending of poetry with other genres, including performance, visual art, and music.
